We provide you with comprehensive drawings to scale, including placement of patios, decks, walls, arbors, hot tubs,
planting beds, swimming pools, trees, etc. We can then recreate your space as a scaled 3D model, adding specific
materials, plants and other furnishings. Our mind blowing 3D presentations allow you to see what your yard will look like
when it’s done and it allows us to be extremely confident with our estimates and schedule for you.
Visually
communicating our designs to you, removes the risk of ideas being lost in translation and allows you to see where your
money is going. A continual cost analysis can be provided throughout the design process, ensuring you get the most out
of your investment budget.
Most of our designs range in price from $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 depending on the scale and complexity of your project, as
well as your ability to visualize. We will be happy to discuss presentation options during our initial design consultation and
find the best way to present your project.

DESIGN PROCESS
What you get for your design fee
Phase 1 - Design Consultation
We are a full service landscape consultation/design/build/maintenance company. Our goal during a consultation is to
educate our clients with our years of knowledge and experience. We will assess your home's architecture and
topography as well as find out about you and you lifestyle. We will discuss features that include: materials to use,
plants to choose, problem area, etc. and how to best proceed with the design process.
This service is the best first step towards maximizing the potential of your outdoor living space. Our design consultation
takes place at your home or business, with you and your spouse and is a chance to evaluate you circumstances,
relevant to the design process. You will leave this meeting better educated about what your project entails and
equipped with a new vision for your home and landscape.
Additionally we offer consulting services for people who don't know where to start, do-it-yourself-ers, or those who are
simply looking for some great ideas and advice. Our consultation fee is $200.00 plus applicable taxes and usually takes
about an hour but we don't use a stop watch and ultimately want you to feel value for the money spent. Consultations
outside of Kelowna are subject to an additional $50.00 per hour for travel time.
Phase 2 - Preliminary Presentation
As most projects start with a blank slate, there are countless directions and styles which a new design could take. The
preliminary presentation phase allows the homeowner an opportunity to assess the direction the design is taking.
This allows us to better refine the design and make sure everyone is on the same page. The preliminary presentation
may be a matter of emailing some 2D drawings or sketches for feedback. Or for more elaborate projects, it may require
a second meeting to discuss newly discovered potential or problem areas. This meeting may entail more thorough
material choices or a visit to local supply yard or previous clients home. It will also give us a chance to do a preliminary
cost analysis and make sure we are staying within budget restrictions. Most importantly, it keeps you, the client, in the
loop and participating in your design process.
Phase 3 - Final Presentation
Once we have completed all of our necessary information gathering, we get hard at work on creatively engineering your
new landscape or outdoor living space. This is when the fun begins.
We take all of our ideas and planning and begin virtual construction on your project. One of our virtual craftsman will
get hard at work, building your project in a 3D computer generated environment. For large scale projects, we build not
only your new project, but recreate the existing home and surroundings to depict the new space as it fits into what is
already there. We use the best in cutting edge 3D technology to create a full virtual environment so you may vividly
experience our design intent. Our goal for our presentations is to remove a good bit of the interpretation from the
design process and ensure what you think you are getting is what you actually get, are the same thing.
Our presentations are great communication tools not only for you, your friends, neighbors and social networks, but also
for our crews, suppliers and other contractors as a shared vision for the outcome of the project. All of our scaled
models serve to double as accurate estimating tools, construction documents and permit drawings. Ultimately they are
an added insurance for you, the homeowner, to help protect your investment into your home and lifestyle.
