ULTIMATE GOAL OF THIS POSITION: To make Creative Roots Group an industry leader using your technical knowledge and keen eye for detail to maintain and beautify our awe inspiring landscapes. This position is responsible to implement quality and skill development personally and among team members safely and professionally to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Horticulture certificate from accredited institution
- 3-5 years industry experience
- IPM Certificate (with Applicator’s License)
- WCB Occupational First Aid Certificate (Level 1)
- Valid BC Driver's License (Class 5) with clean Driver's Abstract
- Able to plan and schedule multiple projects at one time effectively and efficiently
- Exceptional plant, turf and irrigation knowledge
- Exceptional time-management and communication skills
- Capable of leading a crew of up to 5 effectively and efficiently
- Physically fit with a keen attention to detail
- Desire to play on a winning team
- Bondable

ICING ON THE CAKE:
- Experience working locally with Zone 5a and 6a plants
- Outstanding customer service skills
- CIT Level 2 Certification
- Hardscape knowledge and/or experience

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING:
|
|
|
On a Daily Basis:
|
- Lead daily 5 - 15 minute morning huddle to discuss what’s up and daily goals.
- Train team in effective, safe and profitable work habits.
- Ensure team is working efficiently.
- Act as constant liaison with the
customers and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure expectations are in line
with the delivery of the maintenance services.
- Prioritizing, organizing and performing daily tasks for the team.
- Effectively delegate tasks to your team as needed.
- Handle daily scheduling of resources.
- Complete Daily Work Summary daily and hand in.
- Complete Daily Billable Efficiency.

On a Weekly Basis:
|
- Hand in Daily Billable Efficiency sheet.
- Actively contribute to the Weekly Huddle.
- Order materials needed to complete projects.
- Participate in the Friday scheduling meeting to ensure resources are met for the upcoming week’s work; update Leadership team on maintenance services status.

In Addition:
|
- Actively contribute to monthly and quarterly Huddles.
- Actively contribute to annual HIP (High Involvement Planning) session.
|
|
